Last year, the data was lost due to an SSD failure the day before its originally scheduled release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-wp-embed is-provider-nerve wp-block-embed-nerve\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"tUKzJV8R5C\"><a href=\"https:\/\/nerve-noise.space\/en\/music\/on-the-day-the-world-ends-english\/\">On the Day the World Ends<\/a><\/blockquote><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute; visibility: hidden;\" title=\"&#8220;On the Day the World Ends&#8221; &#8212; nerve(\u96d1\u97f3\u7a7a\u9593)\" src=\"https:\/\/nerve-noise.space\/en\/music\/on-the-day-the-world-ends-english\/embed\/#?secret=vA1oWhxr7D#?secret=tUKzJV8R5C\" data-secret=\"tUKzJV8R5C\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>It is a slow, gentle piece with a touch of melancholy. There is a moment of despair, followed by something like quiet redemption. It was also a personal challenge \u2014 to see how slow a melody could be, and whether even hesitation itself could become part of the expression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Incredibly, this marks my first new release in nearly 24 years. I don\u2019t expect anyone has literally been waiting that long, but thank you for your patience all the same.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A preview video is available for listening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The images we receive from sound are different for everyone, so your impressions may well differ from the visuals I created.
