When I started this site in 1997, it was popular for music websites to automatically play music from the moment they were visited.
Followed the trend, from March to November 1997, this site played short jingles with different themes every hour of the day to encourage visitors to come back to the site at different times. I suspect it was done to showcase the variety of songs that can be offered.
This is one of those 24 little songs, the theme of which is “the beginning of a battle”. It was influenced by the meme “The Battle Begins,” at a time when Internet access service was available at a flat rate late at night only, and fighting for dial-up connections was likened to a battle.
