Composed in October 1997. A ballad with a languid saxophone tone playing the melody, and an acoustic guitar playing strange, exotic phrases.
Looking back to the year 2000, it was considered a problematic work because it was truly dubious. Even though the song has lyrics and sings about boys and girls refreshingly trying to look at each other’s career paths, the melody and arrangement give it the feel of an insert song in a cop drama. This may be due to being too conscious of the “sepia-toned” theme.
If it is used as background music, I hope you do not mind the lyrics.
