The original piece was written in April 2000 and arranged in November of the same year.

The original (Ambient House #1) has a clear beat, but the Rhythmless Robot Mix has no clear beat, the BPM is lowered, and reverb and other spatial effects are heavily used to emphasize the ambient elements.

The MIDI file of this song may sound too empty without the reverb that should be heard when played back without a synthesizer that supports the XG format.
