Live to Die

Composed in late February/March 1998. It is a progressive rock song in a storm of modulation and modulation.

The theme was very introspective: “Surely, we are born to die” and “It is always predestined that a person will die when he or she is born”. What did you think at the moment you realized this? How does one live? Imagine the flow of life.

This song was brought to the band I was in after it was finished, but it was too difficult to play and did not make it into the live repertoire; it requires two 7-string guitars and a 5-string bass.

I created this piece as a follow-up to what I had done with “A Town Called U”, under the influence by a friend of mine who had just started working as a professional composer and released a major progressive metal work at the end of 1997.
