Mimic Tears

This up-tempo song was written for the female vocal unit Hinagiku in October 1999.

The song itself has a somewhat Japanese heavy metal feel to it, with a metallic zesty guitar riffs going on. The lyrics are dark to the point of being almost grotesque. This was 20 years before the term “Jirai-kei” was coined, but it was intended to be a gap between a cute girl singing bloody lyrics in the chorus of a major key.
