- The songs distributed on this site in MIDI format were suitable for attaching as background music because the files were small. However, as of 2017, there is little software that can play them as background music in email attachments.
- Files in MP3, Ogg and M4A formats are large and undesirable to send as email attachments. In some environments, they are physically prohibited from being sent due to size restrictions.
